FACILITIES

Extensive work has taken place over the past few years to refurbish existing buildings, build new facilities and landscape our grounds.

Stage 1 of our redevelopment program included an upgrade of administration and staff areas, a new building consisting of eight new classrooms with withdrawal spaces, deaf facility spaces, reading recovery offices and new toilets. Stage 1 also included extensions to the library and a computer centre.

Stage 2 of our redevelopment is due to begin in October 2006. This will include:

• a new indoor stadium for physical education and performing arts, school productions and school functions,
• extensive renovations to the eight existing permanent classrooms and art room and
• a new school canteen.

The school is currently building a Gallery area between two rows of portable classrooms and redeveloping an older building into a music centre (with instrumental music tuition rooms) and a parents meeting room.

The school community takes great pride in the environment and facilities of the school and is looking forward to the completion of the next stage in mid 2007.
